The ruddy Cardinal
perched in the barren peach tree
and the Robin who wings
from branch to fence
by way of the garden,
these and more
who fill the air each day,
pose a persistent question:
When will you realize?
The song your heart sings
is enough;
that song is all there is.

Beautiful.
Thanks, Idelette:)
i love the question they all ask…when will you realize the song your heart sings is enough…there is wisdom and peace in that question, if we can answer it…
Mmm follow your heart, so true.

the song your heart sings is enough…i like that.. we listen all too often what others sing and think… there's beauty in every single voice in their uniqueness
Sometimes the "song" is inspired by the sheer joy of just being alive! Beautiful contemplation in your words.
Yes, I think that's something the birds get that we miss.
mmm, yes. this is so beautiful, such a dance of bird wings and Light beams.
well, this just made me cry tonight:
When will you realize?
The song your heart sings
is enough;
that song is all there is.
I just needed to read that. To remind myself that I am enough. Thank you sweet friend. xo
I love what this says about living in the moment and about being–from the heart–one's authentic, creative self.
